Abzyme Research Foundation offers a new model of HIV research, advocacy, and funding. Our mission is to advance a promising HIV vaccine into human trials, with the larger goal of creating a safe, affordable, widely accessible vaccine to eradicate the spread of HIV globally.
ARF was founded to present a new model of HIV research advocacy and funding. We exist solely to advance an innovative therapeutic HIV vaccine candidate into human trials. We know a vaccine is essential to eradicate the spread of HIV/AIDS. Based on strong research, we believe abzymes are the key.
Our non-profit vaccine development model consists of synergistically working with for-profit and governmental entities to establish vaccine efficacy and safety. Covalent Bioscience, our for-profit start-up partner, has committed to the principle of ensuring equitable access to the E-Vaccine for economically disadvantaged segments of society. About 60% of infected humans currently do not have access to HIV therapies because of cost.

Great leaps forward in medical and scientific understanding are almost always met with dismissal and skepticism. Examples populate the entire history of modern science from Darwin to Salk, and bold advances are the result of groups of dedicated individuals who defy popular opinion, put their reputations and careers on the line, and fight for a new understanding.
